the idea behind this was to listen to the overtones of a 12-string bass (a 6-string bass tuned B-C with octave strings) as notes resonated against each other and decayed.
the method was to play live into two cabinets, which were then recorded into abelton live. effects are compression and reverb in abelton. no other effects were used.
